Statement concerning the word “experts”
There are two articles published in Berkeley Blog, written by Yuriy Gorodnichenko (born 1978, Ukraine, now honored professor of economics at Berkeley University of California, USA). In these two articles, he first attacks Noam Chomsky mentioned in the following list [article, May 19, 2022], and also Jeffrey Sachs represented in the following list [article, March 20, 2023]. There are reasons to read the Gorodnichenko articles with caution, because various details that are not immediately obvious show that the author is not aware of what is happening on the world stage, ie globally. For example, mentioning Wikipedia as a source in an article about the war in Ukraine by a scientist is in itself a reason to doubt what is being propagated. Wikipedia is certainly not always a reliable source, and is therefore not suitable for scientific research with the necessary exact facts and sources linked to it, not even for sensitive articles about the war in Ukraine. Scientists can refer to authentic studies written by scientists, whose names are known and whose personal details can be found.
Scientists don’t work with Wikipedia information. Wikipedia has authors whose names are unknown, who cannot even be traced, and who work behind the scenes in a hierarchical power pyramid that is not neutral.
Only by checking multiple sources can one discover whether Wikipedia information is correct, yes or no. I always do that myself.
What the author writes about the UN testifies to ignorance and above all naivety regarding the UN, because of the absolute unreliability of the UN: it is ruled by oligarchs. This is revealed in an interview with a former UN director Dr. Calin Georgescu. The Gorodnichenko article on Jeffrey Sachs cites the warrant issued by the ICC, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, for Putin’s arrest as evidence in his argument against Jeffrey Sachs.
The Canadian-Greek, independent journalist and lawyer Dimitri Lascaris explains in this interview about the ICC why that International Criminal Court has become unreliable. Which also makes Gorodnichenko unreliable.
Gorodnichenko’s two impressive articles, in terms of length and structure, apparently meet all standards to demonstrate that the author has a right to speak. However, as high as he ranks as an economics professor, he is not an investigative journalist. His articles failed to convince me and I have sufficient arguments to categorize his writings as American propaganda, but also to see them as an attempt to maintain his own position of power in the world in which he works, including in a pro-Western Ukraine: according to the Wikipedia information [screenshot] Gorodnichenko is also a member of the editorial board of the monthly Bulletin of the National Bank of Ukraine. Gorodnichenko is also connected to the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco, USA[screenshot]. He is therefore not neutral: he has an interest in the USA retaining power in Ukraine. He is also affiliated with the European Economic Association. Its supporters are all banks. Source [screenshot]. So the created list will remain as it is, and I will continue to call those mentioned there: experts.
