Backups Blog – created April 14, 2023
This “Backups Blog” is indeed a blog that started with a backup of an article previously published elsewhere, and has been censored there. There: on LinkedIn. This blog will also be used for still unpublished articles that could potentially be censored. LinkedIn, but also other social platforms, are forced by the EU through harsh measures in the form of prohibitively high fines to apply EU rules regarding, among other things, the war in Ukraine and the EU explanation of information and/or disinformation about it on the platform. That is why it is impossible as a platform NOT to censor. It would mean the end of LinkedIn. So I was forced to open this not cheap, paid out of my own pocket, blog. I am an unsponsored activist, do not have a donate button, neither a Patreon account.
Censorship
My article about Ukraine published on LinkedIn has been emptied: it is a page now without any text. I did not delete the text. I was not informed about this was going to happen either. I discovered this by coincidence on April 13, 2023. Fortunately, I made a PDF of this article a week earlier, and pasted the text from that PDF into this blog.
What does that censorship mean?
Everyone will have an own opinion about it, but I see it as a positive sign: the power of the EU and others involved in the war in Ukraine is apparently losing ground, and we are getting closer to peace negotiations. Do they want that? Well, I quoted what the world renowned Jeffrey Sachs said in an interview, and the EU, and therefore also LinkedIn, clearly disagrees. Also about what I published about the Nord Stream sabotage, and, although the words of internationally recognized American scientists, historians, intellectuals, political analysts, explained as pro-Russian propaganda. Which isn’t. The subject of Nord Stream has been covered up in the mainstream media, and apparently should remain there, because my article, which is provided with an enormous number of excellent and reliable sources, has therefore been emptied. Conclusion: the EU exerts pressure through a metaphorical back door on social media, which leads to censorship that the EU therefore imposes, while all point their finger to (in this case) LinkedIn. EU claims to be democratic. In a democracy discussions about what would be disinformation or information should be possible, but there has not been a discussion. My text has been stolen. Text is intellectual property. One should at least get a warning, and time to save that text before it disappears. The texts I have published took endless days of intensive work. As if we live in a dictatorship! In this way EU can go ahead in an utterly complex proxy war: the common people are not informed about essential details, are therefore not able to puzzle with the right puzzle pieces, because the mainstream media are offering them puzzle pieces that do not fit in not any puzzle, become afraid, and prefer to remain silent, MUST remain silent,” or else”. So you have to be smarter than those who silence you with threats (restrictions, censorship) while claiming to like free speech.

Note, 12 June 2024: Since a half year I do not have the possibility anymore to login to LinkedIn. The possibilities they offer to verify my identity, are with a cellphone that is connected with internet, or via the embassy in Oslo, or a lawyer. Since I am electro hyper sensitive (see my blog Multerland) I do not use Wi-Fi, have not an internet connection on my phone, am not willing to do that, prefer to keep the impossibility to log in as it is, since a lawyer costs too much, and a visit to the embassy in Oslo takes me 2 days, and is therefore too high in costs as well, for travelling, plus the necessity of booking an hotel: the Bergensbanen has a limited total of departures and arrivals, forth and back, it costs me 5 hours to arrive in Oslo, the same for travelling back. There is no bus connection anymore from the railway station to where I live, when I would travel back on the same day. Bye bye LinkedIn.
Note 2, 12 June, 2024: Since I was several times restricted on X, Twitter, and finally shadow-banned, because critical about EU, Von der Leyen, NATO, USA, etc. etc., I deactivated my account on June 11, 2024. Bye bye X Twitter.
