The topic of cognitive warfare is firmly embedded in NATO’s military technology planning framework (as outlined in their Technology Outlook Summary Report 2023-2040).
Three major seminars have already taken place on this topic under the auspices and with the participation of NATO scientific and technological structures. The first meeting was held in France in June 2021, with the theme defined as «Cognitive Warfare: The Future of Cognitive Domination».
The organizer was the NATO-ACT Innovation Center and ENSC with the support of the Deputy Chief of Defense of the French Armed Forces. Cognitive warfare was discussed with approximately the same composition last year in the Netherlands.
The focus is on – scientific research work and field experiments in the USA, including on latent remote control of the team.
By the way, the American Air Force has already created three «cognitive» squadrons that are actively preparing for the wars of the future and developing tools and tactics.
