Video graph: Running death toll on each side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, 1940 to October 2026, Israelis and Palestinians, month by month. These are cumulative totals, not deaths per year. Wars Israel fought against Arab states, like 1973 and Lebanon, aren’t counted. Counts before 1987 are historians’ period estimates spread evenly across the years. The Gaza figure is the health ministry’s documented count (the minimum/floor) so it likely underrepresents the Palestinian deaths by a significant amount.
