NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte summarized the three priorities of the Atlantic Alliance on the eve of the Hague Summit1. He said:
- “Our defense budgets must increase,” he stressed. “Today, we are safe. But if we still want to be safe2 in three to five years, we have to make an extra effort. The proposed standard for defense3 spending was set on the basis of indisputable4 facts. Together, we have made a comprehensive inventory of our capability gaps and explored how to fill them; Last Thursday, the Defense Ministers5 approved the new capability objectives; now it is up to the Heads of State and Government6 to approve the defense spending standard7 that will enable us to implement these targets.”
- “In the U.S., throughout Europe and Canada, we have industries that are remarkable, but they are not producing fast enough. They must therefore run faster and equip themselves with new production lines.”8
- “We must ensure that Ukraine is in the most favorable position9 possible not only today, to resist Russia’s aggression10, perpetrated without any provocation11, but also in the future, when a ceasefire or a lasting peace agreement takes shape. The goal is that Mr. Putin never ventures into an enterprise of this nature again12.”
• Exceptional security measures surrounded the NATO summit in The Hague. However, the summit was kept to a minimum: just three hours of work, during which unelected Ukrainian president13 Volodymyr Zelensky was not admitted.
• US President Donald Trump has asserted himself as the undisputed leader of the West, basking in his glory for his role in the Israeli-Iranian ceasefire. Mark Rutte affectionately called him “Daddy” [after Trump had compared Iran and Israel with two fighting kids that need to be separated].
• The final declaration, which holds on a single page, reaffirms that member states will support Ukraine in the long term, nothing more. It said:
“Allies agree that this engagement [in response to Russia’s long-term threat14 to Euro-Atlantic security15 and the persistent threat16 of terrorism17] will have two main components. On the one hand, by 2035, they will increase to at least 3.5% the share of GDP devoted each year to the financing of defense needs in the strict sense – i.e. the expenditure covered by the definition of defense expenditure agreed to NATO – and to the achievement of NATO capability objectives. Allies will present a national plan each year setting out a realistic path to achieve this percentage gradually. On the other hand, they will make investments with the aim of protecting their critical infrastructure, defending their networks, ensuring civil preparedness and resilience, unlocking innovation potential and strengthening their defense industrial base; they will be able to declare each year under this component expenditures representing up to 1.5% of GDP. The trajectory and distribution of expenditure set out here will be reviewed in 2029, in light of the changing strategic context and the review of capability objectives […] Aid that contributes directly to the defense of Ukraine18 and the development of its defense industry19 will be included in the calculation of the Allies’ defense expenditure20.”

*** Additional: Secretary of NATO from August 1, 2009 – September 30, 2014, the Danish Anders Fogh Rasmussen, is still a NATO lobbyist, and was NATO secretary during the Maidan Massacre and coup, February 2014, also when the MH17 was downed above Donbass, then already a war zone in Ukraine [The MH17 court case has to re-start from scratch (new evidence)]. He wrote the book: The Will to Lead: America’s Indispensable Role in the Global Fight for Freedom. The title is a scam, glorifying a CIA ruled, economic fascist regime [Economic Fascism][CIA: Undermining and Nazifying Ukraine Since 1953]. “The will to lead” is based on white supremacism, racism, modern colonialism, and derived from the ideological dreaming (phantasy), that USA has to be the hegemon [The US motivation is to be number one, (bottom page 5)]. The US does not fight for freedom, it follows a typically American crooks system: regime change everywhere possible in the world via a coup, followed by theft, exploitation of all what is below the surface of the soil of a country, like oil and rare minerals, and when all is taken, leaving the country ruined behind, and in extreme poverty. This is proven via statements, from former ambassadors, witnesses, colonels, CIA analysts, history writers, etc. to be found in this list: Political Analysts / Experts. Anders Fogh Rasmussen is therefore legalizing, even promoting the war in Ukraine, guilty of demonizing Russia, supporting a war-criminal regime in Washington and complicit, together with Stoltenberg and Rutte, in the elimination of young Ukrainians, who were and still are pushed (arrested on the streets and transported) to fight in a completely meaningless NATO war that could have been avoided, following logic, and diplomacy, in a very simple way. On NATO’s banner is written: “Provoke! Fight! Die! For us, NATO!” The USA is practicing pathological political meddling world wide, with the mask of the Good Guy, while being the aggressor, the human rights violator even in its own USA, and committing war crimes.

- The term “indisputable” has to be seen only from a western point of view and acts. The west violated the Minsk agreements, neglected the Russian “red line”, as explained by Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, and it was Boris Johnson who corrupted the peace talks in Istanbul.
